Positioned 210km north of Brisbane, Tin Can Bay is a tranquil getaway. Aboriginal name Tuncanbar, the waterways surrounding Tin Can Bay provide for great boating in a wide variety of weather conditions and has a great reputation for fishing. We are situated at the southern end of the Great Sandy Strait which also provides easy access to Fraser Island.

Villas

Stay right on the water’s edge! Each Villa has a balcony overlooking the Marina. Positioned right at the heart of the pristine wonders of Tin Can Bay.

Berths

Fully refurbished and new berths are currently available. We have 172 catamaran and mono berths ranging from 9m to 20m plus, with short and long-term rentals.

Location

Tin Can Bay is situated at the southern end of the Great Sandy Strait at the bottom of Fraser Island.  Protected waters provide more days on the boat. There’s many a great fishing spot, and the crabs up here are abundant!
